David Beckham
David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

David Beckham and other football stars were spotted in Glasgow on Monday as he attended the funeral of the wife of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Lady Cathy was buried at Glasgow's St Andrew's Cathedral on Monday, October 16, as friends and family paid their respects to the 84-year-old who sadly passed earlier this month.Cathy left behind husband Sir Alex and their three sons.

A statement confirming the news read: “We are deeply saddened to confirm the passing yesterday [Thursday] of Lady Cathy Ferguson, survived by her husband, three sons, two sisters, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family asks for privacy at this time.”Various footballing icons were in the city for the funeral including David Beckham, Gary Neville, former Scotland Scotland captain Darren Fletcher, Steve Bruce, Nicky Butt and Michael Carrick reports Scottish Daily Express.
