Maya Jama has reportedly quit one of her BBC projects following her success as the brand new host of Love Island. The 28-year-old is said to have stepped down from her role on Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star, which sees make-up artists compete in a variety of challenges.
Maya made her Love Island debut last week as the series returned to South Africa for the first time in three years following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Maya took over the Glow Up role after Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley stepped down for the 2021 and 2022 series. However, according to reports due to Maya's successful start as the new Love Island and Aftersun host she will not be returning to present a third series of the BBC show.
An insider told The Sun: "Maya loved her time hosting Glow Up for the last two series but has decided now not to return for another run.
