A controversial, anti-violence activist priest in Chicago who once caught attention for his relationship with former President Barack Obama is under investigation for another sexual abuse of a minor case.  The Archdiocese of Chicago announced Saturday that Father Michael Pfleger will be under investigation for a new allegation of sexual abuse of a minor said to have taken place more than 30 years ago, according to a statement.  "Father Pfleger has been asked to step aside from ministry and live away from the parish while the allegation is investigated. He has agreed to cooperate fully with this request," Archbishop of Chicago Cardinal Blase J. Cupich said Saturday.  The allegation was reported to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and law enforcement officials.

Ithaca College in New York is segregating faculty and staff by race for a year-long "Antiracism Institute." The optional weekly event, which is taking place during the 2022-2023 academic year, separates college faculty and staff members by "racial affinity groups." According to the event page, which was public prior to Fox News Digital contacting the college, the Antiracism Institute will "focus on the development of communities who will support one another in learning and action." New York police reportedly launched a strike force after the shooting outside of Rep. Lee Zeldin’s home.  Speaking to reporters near the home of the Republican candidate for governor, Suffolk Police Commissioner Rodney K. Harrison said he is putting the strike force together for the Shirley area.  "I’m always concerned about retaliation, so putting this strike force together and grabbing officers throughout the county and kind of flooding them in a certain community is our M.O.," Harrison on Monday, according to Newsday.

Local New York City officials said Tuesday on "Fox & Friends First" they're concerned about Staten Island schools seeing an "unsustainable" influx of migrant children by next week.  Travis Civic Association President Gene Guerra said the school in his neighborhood is already "overflowing" and he's unsure if the principal would be able to accept more students. "There's really no place to put these children," said Guerra, telling host Carley Shimkus one school is already using a cafeteria as a classroom.  The move comes as Texas continues to send migrants from the southern border to sanctuary cities such as New York City.  Migrants leave for a shelter from the Port Authority bus terminal in New York, the United States, on Sept.

: It has been months since the public has heard from Hall of Fame NFL quarterback Brett Favre regarding his alleged involvement in the Mississippi welfare fraud case that state auditors say funneled money to a new volleyball wellness center at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM).
