VIEWERS of The Masked Dancer are "convinced" that Scarecrow is former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite. Eagle-eyed viewers spotted a number of TV clues on Friday night's semi-final show, including the actress' other roles in Red Cap and New Tricks.
Tamzin, 50, portrayed iconic EastEnders character Mel Owen on and off from 1998 to 2019, when her character was killed off. Alongside the BBC soap, she also worked on comedy series New Tricks, ITV drama The Fixer, The Bill and Men Behaving Badly.
Fans said it was "obvious" Scarecrow was Tamzin as the character also made reference to Inside No 9 and Hotel Babylon. Taking to Twitter, the most eagle-eyed viewers also revealed there was a possible link to Ian Beale, who EastEnders' Mel was once.
