Manchester United are hopeful of finalising the permanent sale of Tahith Chong on deadline day. The Manchester Evening News revealed on Monday that Birmingham were interested in signing the Dutch winger and talks are progressing well over his exit before Thursday's deadline.
Chong, 22, has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and was deemed surplus to requirements after being given a chance by Erik ten Hag in pre-season.
