Newcastle have reportedly joined Manchester United and Arsenal in the race to sign Alexander Isak this summer. The Sweden international has been linked with a number of clubs over the past year, having impressed for his country at Euro 2020.
Isak was touted for a move during the January transfer window, although he ended up staying at Real Sociedad. There are plenty of rumours though that he could be on the move during the summer, with United among those tipped to sign him.
The Reds will be on the lookout for a new striker, with interim manager Ralf Rangnick identifying the position as a priority. Isak is one of the many names linked, but they wouldn’t be the only club interested. Arsenal have also been linked and, according to the Daily Mail (via Caught Offside) Newcastle have now joined the race for the 22-year-old.
