Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, according to reports. Amrabat caught the eye of several Premier League clubs after an impressive World Cup campaign with Morocco.

The 26-year-old was ever-present at the heart of midfield as his nation reached the semi-final stage, where they were beaten 2-0 by France.

Such form on the world stage attracted interest in the January market, but neither Liverpool nor Barcelona - two of the most heavily linked - followed through.

And now Italian outlet La Nazione (via Sport Witness) reports that United have joined the race, having already come to an 'economic agreement' with Amrabat.
