Inter Milan are refusing to compromise on their €60million (£51m) Andre Onana valuation but they and Manchester United remain positive an agreement can be reached, according to reports Onana has been identified as United's prime target to replace David De Gea, whose departure was confirmed last weekend.

The 32-year-old's contract expired at the start of the month, with an emotional statement announcing on Friday that he would not sign a new deal.

Talks with Inter have been underway for some time and United are said to have seen a £38.5million bid rejected. Both sides remain optimistic of finding an agreement but Sky Sports reports that the Italian club are refusing to budge on their price-tag.
