Five Manchester United academy prospects are in contention to make their debut against Young Boys in the Champions League. United have added defender Bjorn Hardley, midfielders Charlie Savage, Charlie Wellens, Sam Mather, and Zidane Iqbal, as well as forward Shola Shoretire to their European squad.
The United Under-19s have already qualified for the knockout stage of the Uefa Youth League, so rawer talents could start against Young Boys at Leigh Sports Village this afternoon.
Shoretire, 17, made his United debut against Newcastle in February and became United's youngest ever debutant in European competition when he came on in the goalless Europa League draw with Real Sociedad four days later.
