Man who died after lorry fell off flyover onto M90 named by police

Police have named the victim of a fatal M90 road crash as Kenneth Cheyne. The 55-year-old, from Turriff in Aberdeenshire, died yesterday after the lorry he was driving fell off the flyover.

The vehicle plummeted 40ft onto a slip road below in what turned into a devastating crash at around 7.20am. Emergency services raced to the scene on the M90 near Perth on Thursday, after the HGV crashed through a safety barrier onto the A912 below.Mr Cheyne was the driver and only occupant of the loaded vehicle carrying potatoes when it negotiated the sever curve to the right on the raised section of the road.The lorry unsuccessfully completed the turn and plummeted onto the A912 slip road below.It appears the load shifted and pulled the cab over,
