A man has gone viral on social media after sharing a quick hack for making sure ice doesn't form on his car windscreen.Scraping your car in the morning can be a real chore, especially if the frost is thick and stubborn.
It's also time-consuming, often making us late for work - and not to mention freezing cold. While there are ways to get it done quicker, such as using an ice scraper and deicing fluid, one man has revealed a way to stop cars from freezing up in the first place - and it only takes a couple of seconds to do, the Mirror reports.TikTokker @tristanwalton13 pointed out that covering your windscreen in cardboard makes for a simple solution - and one that could save you lots of time in the mornings.
By adding a thin later of cardboard to the front of your car during bad weather, you can stop ice from forming. Demonstrating the method in a now-viral clip with over 50,000 likes, the driver pulls cardboard from the top of his snow-covered windscreen, leaving behind a perfectly clear square.
Some people in the comments were blown away at the hack - but many others were concerned as the window didn't appear as though it was frozen in the clip. However, experts at Munster Tyres can confirm that this cardboard hack will do the trick to prevent ice from forming on your windscreen.
