A man and woman have admitted stealing from an 87-year-old man on a bus in Tameside, police have said. The elderly man was targeted on a bus in the Hyde area, police said.
Officers issued an appeal for help to find the suspects and on September 13, a man and woman were arrested. They were detained as they boarded a bus in Denton after being identified by the investigating officer.
Gosho Georgiev, 29, and Elena Goranova, 39, were then charged in relation to the incident. Both were remanded into custody, police said. They appeared at Tameside Magistrates' Court on September 14 and both pleaded guilty to all offences.
