Lucy Letby planning fresh appeal says new lawyer

Child serial killer Lucy Letby is planning to launch a fresh appeal with a new legal team, her barrister has said, according to the BBC.

The former neonatal nurse is one of the UK's most notorious child serial killers after she was convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill seven others in two separate trials.

All the murders took place at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016. She was handed multiple whole life orders following her convictions, and has unsuccessfully appealed them twice.

But she has now employed a new legal team and is reportedly planning a fresh appeal.
