THE original Love Island villa in Majorca has sold for a cool £3million, Sun Online can reveal. The spectacular five-bed property, used for the first two seasons of the hit ITV2 show, was snapped up a fortnight ago by a mystery buyer.

The villa had been on the market for nearly a year at an asking price of £3.1 million. A well-placed source confirmed: “It was taken off the market about two weeks ago.

It sold for near its asking price.” The natural stone villa stood out from other properties in the area with its stunning beach-style outdoor pool.
