Thursday's episode of Loose Women was a riot of laughter and unexpected moments as Miriam Margolyes dropped a cheeky swear word live on air.The 83-year-old screen legend, known for her role in Call the Midwife, was there to chat about her latest literary offering, 'Oh Miriam', with host Kaye Adams and panelists Denise Welch, Olivia Attwood-Dack, and Nadia Sawalha.

Miriam candidly admitted the reason behind her book release, saying: "Because they paid me", which sent the audience and panel into fits of giggles.

Kaye playfully probed further, asking: "Can they pay you to do anything Miriam? " only to have Miriam's risque response bleeped out, leaving the ladies on the panel in stitches, with Denise visibly shocked and Kaye shaking her head in disbelief.

Trying to recover from her laughter, Miriam questioned: "Am I allowed to say that, oh dear? " before quipping: "I wouldn't eat faeces.", reports the Express.
