Following Saturday night's public vote, Channel 4 newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy found himself facing broadcaster Angela Rippon in the bottom two.
Krishnan and his partner Lauren Oakley performed their Samba to Gipsy Kings' Bambaleo - but it wasn't enough to remain in the competition.
Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke chose to save Angela, while head judge Shirley revealed that she would have saved Krishnan and Lauren. "Well I picked the person that I felt was more grounded on their feet without any technical errors," she said.
