Krishnan Guru-Murphy left himself and his dance partner in tears as they spoke for the first time about their Strictly Come Dancing exit.

The Channel 4 News presenter was the seventh celebrity to leave the BBC One dance contest over the weekend. Krishnan and Lauren, who joined the show last year as a professional dancer but was only paired with a celebrity for the first time this year, faced the dreaded dance-off for the first time on Sunday night (November 12) against Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington who faced the red light treatment for a second week in a row.

Both couples performed their routines again, with Krishnan and Lauren reprising their Samba to Bamboleo by Gipsy Kings while Angela and Kai performed their Paso Doble to Hung Up by Madonna in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.
