Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Liam Gallagher has launched signed prints inspired by classic Oasis tracks in aid of the War Child charity – order them here.He worked with the non-profit Soundwaves Art, which creates limited edition art from soundwaves to make the prints, and shared them on Instagram earlier today (July 10).The prints are made from the audio of ‘Definitely Maybe’ songs ‘Live Forever’, ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Star’ and ‘Supersonic’, and have been signed by both Gallagher himself and Soundwaves artist Tim Wakefield.There are just 100 prints and six originals available.Gallagher and Soundwaves Art posted on Instagram earlier, “Whilst on tour, Liam met up with @soundwaves_art to sign a very limited collection of artwork created from the audio of “Live Forever”, “Supersonic” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star”.

Every artwork has been hand-signed by Liam and Soundwaves artist Tim Wakefield to support the incredible work of @warchilduk, a nonprofit organization protecting, educating and providing psychosocial support to children in war zones across the world.”A post shared by Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher)‘Definitely Maybe’ celebrates its 30th anniversary on August 29, and Gallagher headed out on the 30 Years Anniversary Tour last month, playing Sheffield, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.On Friday (July 12) he’s set to headline TRNSMT in Glasgow, before a handful of further shows across the next few years.
