Lanarkshire rotary group continues to help out in the community

A Lanarkshire rotary group have given a local group something to cheer about recently.Rutherglen Rotary provided a helping hand to SLS Cheer and Dance, who are currently fundraising for a trip to Florida next to compete in a championship.

The Rutherglen cheerleaders, who are based on Cambuslang Road, are hoping to send two teams to Orlando, Florida for the Allstar World Championship in July.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Karen and Tracy were delighted to accept the contribution on behalf of the team, and in thanking the club they indicated that the Rotary emblem will be displayed on the team’s kit when they complete in Florida.
