Furious Lanarkshire parents have hit out over new school boundary changes that they fear will separate their kids from their pals.

We recently reported that South Lanarkshire Council are looking at proposals to change the zoning area for youngsters attending Newton Farm and Hallside Primary in Cambuslang.

Newton Farm, which was only built in 2017, is already straining at capacity, while the school roll at Hallside is currently under capacity by more than 200 pupils.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
