Kyogo sees Celtic exploits help him mix with Asia's best at prestigious awards

Celtic talisman Kyogo has been voted the sixth best player in the Asian Ballon d'Or awards after his outstanding exploits at Parkhead this season.

The Japanese international has already scored 16 goals for Celtic this season and was this week joined by countrymen Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi in Glasgow.

He also impressed with Vissel Kobe before he moved to Celtic and he was listed in sixth place in the Best Footballer in Asia award, which was created by Chinese newspaper Titan Sports in 2013 as an Asian answer to the Ballon d'Or.
