Kilmarnock dog walker suffers serious injuries following street attack

A dog walker suffered serious injuries after being assaulted in Kilmarnock.The 59-year-old woman was attacked from behind after her dog and another pooch were involved in an altercation around 11.30am on Sunday, March 29.The victim suffered serious injuries to her finger and minor injuries to her head, knee and ribs.

The incident unfolded on South Dean Road near to the junction of Forbes Place.The woman was walking a black labrador in the Dean Park when she met a woman walking another dog, possibly a French bulldog, and both dogs tried to fight.

The 59-year-old walked away and she was approached by a man in a silver car who confronted her about the incident. Shortly afterwards, the victim was walking on South Dean Road, near to the junction
