Kate Middleton has been discharged from hospital following abdominal surgery and is home in Adelaide Cottage making 'good progress'.

After 13 days a the London Clinic, the Princess of Wales was reunited with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and will continue her recovery from the operation at home reports the Mirror.She is not expected to resume royal duties again until after Easter.A statement from Kensington Palace today said: "The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery.

She is making good progress. The Prince and Princess wish to say a huge thank you to the entire team at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they have provided.

The Wales family continues to be grateful for the well wishes they have received from around the world."Royal sources say Kate's return to official duties 'will depend on medical advice closer to the time'.Previously, Kensington Palace stated the future Queen had cancelled all engagements until after Easter.Her husband, Prince William, also cancelled engagements and public appearances to look after the pair three kids whilst Kate remained in hospital.Sources said the Prince of Wales would return to work 'once the Princess of Wales' care and recovery is settled', with the Times revealing that she will rest throughout her recovery but her work will continue.
