Kanye West locked out of Instagram and Twitter following antisemitic posts

Kanye West has been locked out of his accounts on Instagram and Twitter following a series of antisemitic posts. Representatives for both platforms have separately confirmed West's suspension to Buzzfeed and NBC News.

The FADER has reached out to Kanye West's representative for more information. In his first posting on Saturday, West shared text messages between Diddy and himself in which West suggested that the rap mogul was being controlled by Jewish people. "Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me," he wrote in the post captioned "Jesus is Jew." Instagram removed the post and restricted his account, which led West to return to Twitter for the first time since the 2020 election.

He suggested that Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Instagram's parent company Meta, was directly responsible for his suspension, and shared a photo of himself with Zuckerberg..
