Kansas woman accused of killing ex-husband, girlfriend released on reduced bond while awaiting third trial

A Kansas woman accused of murdering her ex-husband and his girlfriend two decades ago has been released on bond after a judge reduced the amount to $350,000 from $1 million last month.

Dana Chandler, 62, was charged with two counts of murder in the July 2002 Colorado shooting deaths of Mike Sisco, 47, and Karen Harkness, 53, at their home in Topeka.

She is now facing a potential third trial in the case. Under the conditions of her release, Chandler must be monitored by a GPS device, submit to random drug and alcohol testing, cannot possess any weapons and cannot travel out of state without permission from the court, according to Shawnee County.
