Josie Gibson addresses Holly Willoughby's TV return on This Morning three months after shock exit
manchestereveningnews.co.ukJosie Gibson has spoken about being backstage during Holly Willoughby's return to screens as she appeared on This Morning. The presenter made a special appearance on Dancing on Ice on Sunday night (January 14) which was co-hosted by Holly and Stephen Mulhern.
Holly's new partnership with Stephen on the show comes two decades after they first joined forces on ITV Saturday morning children’s show Ministry Of Mayhem But they are now Dancing on Ice's new hosting duo and Stephen was firmly by Holly's side as she returned to live TV for the first time in three months.
The 42-year-old quit This Morning back in October after 14 years on the ITV daytime show. On Monday’s promgramme, host Dermot O'Leary insisted his former co-star and friend was back ‘where she belongs’.
He added: "It was just wonderful to see her," while Josie – who made a cameo appearance of her own during the programme – was also pleased for her former colleague.
