Josh Rogin, a longtime former aide to senior House Democrats, will join the Motion Picture Association as senior vice president of federal government affairs.
Rogin’s first day will be Jan. 4, and he will be based in Washington. He will report for Patrick Kilcur, executive vice president, U.S.
government affairs. Rogin will take a leading role in the trade association’s lobbying and advocacy work, on issues like intellectual property, trade, tax and appropriations, as well as streaming.
In a statement, Kilcur said that Rogin’s “experience and expertise will contribute enormously to the advancement of an ambitious policy agenda on behalf of our member companies.
