Johnny Depp
John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Johnny Depp Attends Cannes Film Festival 2023 Opening Ceremony in Support of 'Jeanne du Barry'

Johnny Depp poses for photos at the premiere screening of his movie, Jeanne du Barry, at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 16) in Cannes, France.

The 59-year-old actor posed for photos with the film’s director, Maïwenn, as well as some of his co-stars including Benjamin Lavernhe, Pierre Richard, Pascal Greggory, and Melvil Poupaud, among others.

THR reports that Johnny arrived right on time at 7pm local time and spent over 5 minutes signing autographs for fans.

This is opening day of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, which is often attended by lots of A-list stars. This year, the festival runs until May 27, so you can expect lots of photos from the premieres and screenings over the next few days!
