Over the years, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has developed a beloved Halloween tradition for parents, encouraging them to prank their kids by telling them that mom and dad ate all their candy overnight.
But given the circumstances of the pandemic, Kimmel put the joke on hold — or so he thought.On Monday night’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” the host informed his audience that he did have more videos from parents to show this year.
But he wanted to make one thing clear: he definitely didn’t ask for them. This year’s challenge, he said, was completely “unauthorized and unwanted.”“It felt like kids have had it hard enough lately, so we decided to hold off this year.
