Details regarding her exit are unknown. A search is currently underway for an actor to play Charlotte Quinn — the role Biel was attached to — with a replacement expected to be named soon.
Based on Karin Slaughter’s bestselling novel of the same name, The Good Daughter was picked up straight-to-series by the NBCU streaming service in March, with Slaughter writing all episodes and executive producing the project from Fifth Season and Bruna Papandrea‘s Made Up Stories.
In The Good Daughter, sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn have spent the last twenty-eight years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence.
