Jay Idzes leaves Aberdeen return door open as permanent transfer target hints 'I haven't signed anywhere yet'

The 23-year-old is now a free agent and is considering an offer from Pittodrie and others across Europe. Aberdeen were close to sealing a pre-contract for Idzes in January but the player didn’t want to commit as Jim Goodwin lost his job.
He didn’t want to sign until he knew who the new manager was going to be. Barry Robson has since travelled to Holland to watch Idzes and he also wants to bring him to Pittodrie.
The Dons have tabled a lucrative offer and hope it will be enough to land the left-sided central defender. Idzes claimed: “I haven’t signed anywhere yet, so we will see.
