Scots comedian Janey Godley has revealed she 'cried and cried' when told she had ovarian cancer in an emotional video online where she thanked the 'unbelievably brilliant' NHS staff for their support.

We told earlier today how the 60-year-old comic shared a picture of herself in a hospital bed as she announced the news on social media.

She had been due to perform at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh on Friday and The Brunton in Musselburgh on Saturday but has cancelled the last shows in her tour.

The star has been receiving treatment and told of her shock diagnosis only yesterday and how she has 'done nothing but cry and cry and cry'.Now in a heartbreaking video on Twitter, Godley speaking from a hospital room in Glasgow, apologised to
