ok.co.ukCoronation Street actress Jenny McAlpine, who plays Weatherfield legend Fizz Dobbs, has finally returned to the cobbles nine months after giving birth to her third child, a daughter called Doris.
The 39 year old star went on maternity leave early last year, and welcomed her little girl, whom she shares with husband Chris Farr, on April 4.
At the time, Jenny decided to keep the news on the down-low so the family could enjoy some quiet time together before announcing to the world.The actress then proudly shared her news in an exclusive interview with OK!
in August. Another few months later, and Fizz has appeared with the rest of her on-set family as actor Alan Halsall shared a filming snap on his Instagram page. "Family is the heart of the home," he said. "So happy to be Together again & back to work." The official Coronation Street Instagram account later re-shared the heart-warming photo, as they gushed "welcome back Jen," in a sweet story, adding: "No 9 back together again." In the photo, Jenny posed with Alan, Evelyn Plummer star Maureen Lipman, Claire Sweeney, and child stars Billie Naylor and Bella Flanagan.
