'It’s really dangerous at times' - Residents call for action to stop more crashes on Hyde Road

Residents are calling for more safety measures to be put into place on a major road after a number of incidents - including one already this year.

People living in Gorton have called for improvements such as zebra crossings, speed cameras and extra traffic lights to be placed along Hyde Road.

The renewed calls for action come after a man was seriously injured after he was hit by a vehicle on a stretch of the road on New Year's Day.
