Inside Molly Mae's 'excruciating' health battle that left her 'fearing for her life'

Molly Mae Hague is best known for her appearance on Love Island which saw her rise to fame back in 2019 with her now fiancé Tommy Fury who she met on the reality dating show.The 24-year-old is arguably one of the most successful contestants to ever come out of the Love Island villa having launched her own fake tan business and previously landing the role of creative director at Pretty Little Thing back in 2021.

The YouTuber, who boasts 1.84m subscribers, likes to keep her fans up to date with her life and has been very open about her health struggles since being diagnosed with an excruciating disease that left her 'fearing for her life'.

Molly was diagnosed with endometriosis back in 2021 which she said left her with period pains which were "on the same level as labour." The NHS website states that endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Endometriosis is a long-term condition which there is currently no cure for but treatment can be used to ease the symptoms.The main symptoms of the disease are pelvic pain, intense period pain that interferes with your daily life, pain during or after sex and difficulty getting pregnant.The 24-year-old has been very open about her health with fans praising her for raising awareness about the disease.Speaking about her condition in a YouTube video, the mum-of-one admitted: "From the age of 15 I knew something was really, really not right."Molly continued: "I cannot explain the levels of pains I've experienced in recent years through my period."I've nearly called an ambulance on multiple occasions because of the level of pain I was in."I was fearful for my life.
