‘I want justice’ Family of M9 crash victim speaks out after case launched against Police Scotland

I want justice for my grandson.”We revealed yesterday that the Crown Office had launched formal proceedings against Police Scotland over the 2015 accident on the M9 that led to the deaths of Lamara, 25, and her partner John Yuill, 28.The couple were returning to Falkirk when John’s Renault Clio came off the motorway near Stirling and crashed down an embankment into trees.

Despite a call to police by a member of the public who spotted the car, it took officers three days to respond.When they arrived, John was dead and Lamara died later in hospital.
