Britney Spears has claimed all of her jewellery has been stolen, admitting the ordeal has left her 'scared' and hesitant to buy more in case another robbery happens.
In a new Instagram post, the former pop princess - who recently divorced husband Sam Asghari - films herself going through her empty jewellery box, opening each drawer as she shows the minimal contents. "It's all gone," Britney said over the video as she searched. "So you can see for real all my jewellery was stolen … it’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing," wrote the singer, 42, in the caption.
She added: "So I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me … and my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone … it’s so thin".
The only piece remaining in her jewellery box was a religious necklace and broach, which she dubbed 'Mother Mary'. Britney's robbery revelation comes after she hit headlines once again earlier this month after being photographed outside of the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles wearing just underwear, a blanket over her shoulders and clutching a pillow to hide her chest. The dishevelled-looking star, 42, had suffered a foot injury inside the hotel and left barefoot before being rushed into an ambulance.
