Hunt for person behind 1am bus stop stabbing as investigations continue

Emergency services rushed to Middleton Road, in Chadderton, just before 1am on Thursday morning, where a 26-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say the incident happened on Bentley Street, and bus firm First confirmed an ambulance was called when a driver saw a blood soaked man staggering towards his bus in Middleton Road.
