HOLLYOAKS star Lucy-Jo Hudson opened up on the terrifying moment she had to call an ambulance for her partner during their Covid battle.
Lucy-Jo, 38, returned to playing Donna Marie Quinn on the Channel 4 soap in May but it came after a tough year as she and her partner Lewis Devine both battled Covid.
The new parents were left bedridden by the virus, but it got so bad for Lewis he started coughing up blood. A frightened Lucy-Jo called the ambulance to check on her boyfriend. "We did get the ambulance out at that point," she told OK!
magazine, and added, "but they told us he was OK and it wasn’t severe." Lewis also revealed he "had it for about two weeks and then I spent a week recovering from it".
