High-street fashion chains Oasis and Warehouse have collapsed into administration putting 2,300 jobs at risk. The brands have 92 branches and 437 concessions across the UK.

In Greater Manchester, the brands have shops in both the Arndale Centre and the Trafford Centre. Concessions can also be found in House of Fraser and John Lewis stores across the region.

Accountancy firm Deloitte is set to handle the insolvency process after the coronavirus lockdown forced them to shut their stores.

The company, which is owned by the failed Icelandic bank Kaupthing, started discussions with potential buyers three weeks ago.
