'High risk' venues where lateral flow tests will be accepted for entry from next month

Nicola Sturgeon announced a slight change to Scotland’s Covid vaccination scheme in a speech to MSPs earlier today. Scots will be able to show evidence of a recent negative lateral flow test to gain entry into a number of high risk venues, regardless of vaccination status, from December 6.

Previously, Scots had to be fully vaccinated against Covid to enter the likes of nightclubs and large events. So-called vaccine passports will continue to be accepted at affected venues.It was previously anticipated that the vaccine certification scheme would be expanded to include more venues, but the First Minister today announced that this will not happen.
