Helen Flanagan has spoken out on the reason why she was forced to give up acting. The former Coronation Street star, 33, last appeared on the Cobbles as Rosie Webster in 2018 after playing the role off and on since 2000.

Helen, who shares Matilda, eight, Delilah, five and Charlie, two, with Scott, said returning to acting would be difficult to balance with looking after the kids - especially as her ex now plays for Bristol Rovers and lives in Bath, five hours away from her home in the north west.
But, although she said being a single parent left little time for herself or her career, she still left the door open to a Coronation Street return.
