Greater Manchester was treated to a largely warm and dry bank holiday weekend, but that could all change this week as heavy cloud and scattered showers are expected to be the picture for the week ahead.
Despite saying goodbye to April, the traditional showers that come with the month are expected to linger across the region this week and possibly into the weekend.
The plus side is that temperatures are expected to start creeping up to the mid to late teens, but sadly the sun to match it hasn't quite arrived - meaning it might not quite be time for BBQ season yet. But by the end of the week, the chance of rain showers is more likely - and some places could even see more heavier spells of wet weather.
