manchestereveningnews.co.ukA huge family event is coming to Greater Manchester's 'best park' this bank holiday weekend. Kinderfest takes place at Haigh Woodland Park in Wigan this Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, and features a host of entertainment for families.
There promises to be dozens of inflatable attractions, bubble performers, children's entertainers, live music, Molly Kidz TV, a Super Pirates Kids Activity Zone and more. Read more: Families can stay in a Sea King helicopter at Yorkshire glamping site Inflater Land will feature an ultimate wipeout challenge, human hungry hippos, the unclimbable ladder, penalty shootout, dino rodeo and an adult bouncy castle.
Other entertainment includes a walkabout circus, Danny Zapperelli, a baby dragon walkabout and Drago the Dragon Show. We've previously featured the Wigan park when parents told us it's the best in Greater Manchester.
Often referred to as 'the jewel in Wigan's crown', it encompasses 250 acres of park and woodland surrounding the historic Haigh Hall.
