Gogglebox stars break down in tears as they react to news of the Queen’s death
ok.co.ukGogglebox stars were reduced to tears as they watched the announcement of the Queen’s death on BBC News. Her Majesty the Queen died on Thursday 8 September, with BBC News pausing its usual TV schedule to announce the news to viewers.
As a stoic Hew Edwards’ face came onto the screen, Gogglebox stars knew it was bad news. Hew went on to confirm the sad news of the Queen’s passing, reducing the likes of Jenny and Lee to tears.
As tributes began to roll out for the late monarch, an emotional Jenny sang along to the national anthem. Meanwhile in Wiltshire, Giles sweetly comforted his wife Mary as she began to tear up.
Several other stars also appeared teary-eyed as the news paid tribute to the Queen. All the stars went on to share their own memories of the Queen, with Stephen recalling a photograph he had of her “photobombing” hubby Daniel.
