A woman whose childhood sweetheart died after falling from a cliff in Ibiza has told of her heartbreak. Richard Canavan, 30, from Liverpool, fell 500ft from a beauty spot on the Spanish island in August last year, the Liverpool Echo reports.

His partner Rose Phillips, also from Liverpool, said Richard was 'her whole life'. Rose, 29, said the couple had moved to Spain a few years before Richard died and they wanted to travel to Ibiza to celebrate their anniversary.
