'Gaunt' bogus workman with 'no conscience' leaves Ayrshire OAP badly shaken

Ayrshire detectives are hunting a 'gaunt' bogus workman after leaving an elderly woman badly shaken.The 80-year-old was targeted in the Kilmarnock area of New Farm Loch's Kennedy Drive on Wednesday.Pretending to be from a water company, the suspect managed to gain to access to the property at around 6pm.Officers say that the lady managed to get the man out of her house before he had the chance to steal anything but she's been left badly shaken by the experience.The man is white, gaunt in appearance, with a slim build.
