Police are receiving increased reports of neighbour disputes in Salford as lockdown causes tensions to rise. Cars being splashed by hoses, funny looks and changing fence panels are just some of the complaints officers have received in Walkden in recent weeks.

Police say small matters that may not have been brought to their attention before are now highlighted to them at an increasing rate.

And with reports still coming in, they are now asking residents to “take a deep breath, walk away and be the bigger person”.
