Univision Communications, now under new ownership, has named a fresh slate of executives to lead the company alongside CEO Wade Davis.

Pierluigi Gazzolo will become president ad chief transformation officer for the company. Gazzolo was a longtime veteran of Viacom, where he worked alongside Davis, who was Viacom's CFO before joining the venture that acquired Univision.

He was most recently president of streaming and studios for ViacomCBS Networks International. The company has also tapped Luis Silberwasser to be president of the Univision Television Networks Group.

Silberwasser was most recently president of Telemundo Networks, the NBCUniversal-owned company that is Univision's primary competitor in the Spanish-language TV space.
