thesun.co.ukA FORMER soap star sobbed as he was jailed for repeatedly punching his elderly mother as she lay in bed as part of a decade long campaign of abuse Joshua Malin, 34, who had previously appeared in EastEnders and The Bill, repeatedly assaulted his mother over the last 12 years.
Malin was convicted of assaulting his 71-year-old mum Diana in her North London home on March 1, violating a restraining order which had been put in place after previous attacks.
The former actor has previously been convicted of five offences against his own mother between 2010 and 2022, including assault, battery and criminal damage.
He has also breached his restraining order on two previous occasions. The long-suffering mum told the Old Bailey: "The assault made me feel vulnerable, it made me worry about who is going to be on my doorstep.
